Chambre de Métiers et de l’Artisanat de la Somme (Chamber of handicraft and small businesses of the Somme), project leader

The main role of the Chambre de Métiers is to represent and to promote the general interest of small businesses.

In the context of this project, the main purpose of the ‘Chambre de Métiers et de l’Artisanat’ is to struggle against the inadequacy between the job offer and demand in the handicraft and small businesses sector by:

  • facilitating the integration and the employability of the public with a high risk of social and professional exclusion, into the small businesses,
  • furthering and improving the conditions of equality and the struggle against discrimination,
  • promoting the social adaptability of the businesses,
  • promoting the integration strategies linked to the notion of individual responsibility and social cohesion

The ‘Chambre de Métiers et de l’Artisanat’ has a large experience in managing European projects, specially in the first Equal round.


Chambre d’Agriculture de la Somme (Chamber of agriculture of the Somme)

Its role is to represent and to promote the general interest of the agricultural sector, to support the farmers and the partners of the agricultural world. It promotes initiatives to improve employment and training in the agricultural sector.


A.D.E.P.A.S. – Association pour le Développement et la Promotion de l’Artisanat de la Somme (Association for the development and the promotion of the handcraft and small businesses sector)

This association intervenes in the social economy sector and it aims at improving the inclusion of individuals with difficulties in the handcraft and small businesses sector.



AYLF

The A.Y.L.F. is an association which deals with child welfare and aid concerning children and teenager with behavioural problems, with rehabilitation of delinquents and with social and professional rehabilitation of adults with difficulties.



IME - Institut Médico-Educatif de la Somme (Special school for young people with mental disabilities)

The institute was opened in 1971, under the State’s competence.

It welcomes 135 children and teenagers (boys and girls) in school and professional sections (boarding and day school). A total of 220 young people attend school and socio-professional insertion activities.

The ‘IME’ is made up of:

  • one school (7 forms specialized in teaching young people with learning difficulties)
  • 8 workshops for professional training: gardening, masonry, joinery, ironworks, painting…
  • educators
  • medical staff (psychiatrist, psychologist, psychomotricians, speech therapists…)
  • one social worker

The French National Association for Adult Vocational Training (AF.P.A. Départementale - Association de Formation Professionnelle pour Adultes)

This is the France’s leading vocational training and career counseling organization. There are 458 training and counseling offices all over France, 5000 trainers, 780 career counseling and tutoring experts, 350 training engineers. The AFPA trains 150 000 people every year.


It deals with:

  • Guidance and tutoring career projects
  • Professionally recognized trainings leading to employment
  • Validation of acquired knowledge or skills
  • Professional diplomas recognized by the State and employers delivered by the AFPA

ANPE Départementale – Agence Nationale pour l’Emploi (French national employment office)

It is a public corporation placed under the authority of the Ministry in charge of Employment, Labour and Social cohesion. Its main role is the intermediation between the job supply and demand, and the setting up of employment public policies. The main ANPE commitments are: helping job seekers to recover an activity, answering to the needs of firms and modernizing the tools.



C.A.S.N.A.V.

It is a centre which deals with the reception of children of newcomers and gipsies and which helps them to follow school courses or to follow trainings.

Mission Locale de la Picardie Maritime

The ‘Missions Locales’ and the ‘PAIO’ fulfill a mission of public service for the inclusion of the young people from 16 to 25 into the world of work, shared between the State, the region and the other territorial authorities.

The ‘Missions Locales’, in comparison with other protagonists of the inclusion sector, are different with 6 main characteristics:

  • The individuals from 16 to 25
  • A field of intervention including social and professional aspects
  • A support to each young person according to his needs and first and foremost an individualized guidance for those who meet huge difficulties
  • A structure created, conceived and organised from a local political will, in order to meet local needs
  • A role of instigator of local solutions by a mobilization of partners
  • A relation with the young person based on a voluntary participation, without any statutory restraint

They have a double function:

  • Building and monitoring inclusion path for young people
  • Developing the local partnership for young people with difficulties of inclusion

ADIFE – Association pour le Développement de l’Insertion, de la Formation et de l’Emploi (Association for promoting professional inclusion, training and employment)

‘ADIFE’ welcomes applicants for a job, beneficiaries of “RMI”, young people leaving the school without diploma, people with reading, writing and calculating difficulties.

Its main actions are: training, monitoring, information and guidance, transport.
